What is the Neosho County 4-H Development Fund?
The Neosho County 4-H Development Fund is a not-for-profit, charitable organization formed to support 4-H members in the county as they take part in educational events and activities. The development fund was established in 2008 and is governed by a board of directors.
In 2014, the development fund provided seventeen campers with $75 to help off-set the cost to attend 4-H camp at Rock Springs; three scholarships to attend Discovery Days on the K-State Campus; $1000 to help a youth attend 4-H Citizenship Washington Focus; and a $500 collage scholarship.
A donation in memory of a friend or loved one can be made to the Neosho County 4-H Development Fund. Another opportunity is to include the development fund in a will, trust or insurance policy.
Any contribution, regardless of the amount, would be very much appreciated!
If you would like to donate, make checks payable to the Neosho County 4-H Development Fund and mail to Southwind Extension, 111 South Butler, Erie, KS 66733 or call 620-244-3826.
