Woodson County Sheep Auction

Monthly Sale is the first Tuesday of the month.

Buying station (for fat lambs) is open on the same day 8:00 a.m -11:00 a.m.

Animals to be sold may be brought in beginning at 8:00 a.m, and are sold in the order that they are received.

Auction starts at 6:00 p.m.

Woodson County Fairgrounds, 701 S. Fry, Yates Center

Thin ewes:  40 - 70 cwt

 

Goats:

#1 Kid goats (40-60 lbs):  210 - 267 cwt

#1 Kids (75-100 lbs):  190 - 235 cwt

#2 / #3 Kid goats:  170 - 245 cwt

Nannies:  95 - 155 cwt

Thin/overly fat nannies:  70 - 125 cwt

Light billies:  180 - 230 cwt

Heavy billies:  115 - 185 cwt
