Woodson County Sheep Auction

Monthly Sale is the first Tuesday of the month.

Buying station (for fat lambs) is open on the same day 8:00 a.m -11:00 a.m.

Animals to be sold may be brought in beginning at 8:00 a.m, and are sold in the order that they are received.

Auction starts at 6:00 p.m.

Woodson County Fairgrounds, 701 S. Fry, Yates Center

Sheep:

Light feeders:  190 - 225 cwt

Thin feeders:  160 - 200 cwt

Old crop feeders:  130 - 145 cwt

Fats (95-150 lbs.):  130 - 180 cwt

Rams:  50 - 65 cwt

Cull ewes:  45 - 65 cwt

 

Goats:

Kid goats (no 1) 45-65 lbs:  280 - 320 cwt

Kids (no 1) 20-45 lbs:  240 - 300 cwt

Kids 70-95 lbs:  210 - 275 cwt

Thin kid goats (no 2 & 3):  180 - 250 cwt

Nannies:  110 - 145 cwt

Thin cull nannies:  85 - 130 cwt

Billies:  115 - 140 cwt
