New this year: Walk Kansas participants will be able to participate in an online "Med instead of Meds" class series on Wednesdays at noon during weeks 2-7!
If you are interested in eating the Mediterranean way but not sure where to start, this class series is perfect for you. Classes focus on the 7 Simple Steps to eating the Med Way. Each session will explore 1-2 simple steps, a mindfulness skill, and features Med Way recipes from medinsteadofmeds.com.

Med Instead of Meds
A new feature of Walk Kansas this year will be the opportunity to participate in the "Med Instead of Meds" weekly webinars which will be offered exclusively to Walk Kansas participants! Through these webinars, we will explore the seven steps to eating the Med way. Learn to improve your health with pans instead of pills - Mediterranean style! To take advantage of this new feature, be sure to get signed up for Walk Kansas by March 26th at www.WalkKansas.org. After you register for Walk Kansas, check the "Resources" section for more details and a registration link for the webinars offered during weeks 2-7 of the program on Wednesdays at noon. These will be recorded for those who cannot watch the webinars live.
